JVM Active Threads in Oracle 10g App Server [message #244455]

Hi.,

My Application runs on Oracle10g App server,
In that the number of JVM-Active threads keeps on increasing
Why the created thread is not getting destroyed ?
Is there any tuning parameter to control it ?

As the number of active threads goes more than 20,000 the
instance stops automatically, and it has to be restarted

I checked the number of JVM active threads using Oracle
Enterprise Manager and also using dmstool -table JVM

Why this happens ? may i get some information about it ?
