Hi all!

I am having an odd issue with Reports. I have used the Page Break feature many times and have never had any issues using it. However, in this case, it seems to not want to break!

My data model is quite simple: Group 1 = Purchase Order Num
Group 2 = Invoice Num Group 3 = Invoice Detail

I am trying to put a page break on the invoice num group so that after each invoice a page break occurs and the next page prints a fresh invoice. Setting the property of the GRPFR frame and/or the repeating frame for Invoice Number is not working. What other settings should I check to ensure that the report breaks appropriately?

Thanks!

Steve

Quick work-around found if anyone is interested:

Set repeating frame (in this case the invoice number repeating frame) and set property Maximum Records Page = 1.

Cheers!

Hi there,

I'm a relative newbie to this forum and also to reports. I also would like to have a page break in an AP Invoice aging report whereby i want to print each new supplier on a new page. I notice using the standard APXINAGE.rdf report there are a few layouts available depending on the parameters entered...Please could you guide me through the page break story. If the workaround (i.e Max records per page = 1) is to be used should i do so for EACH of the repeating frames in the seperate layouts respectively?

Hope i didn't confuse you too much.
Many thanks and regards,
Ice...

How much would it cost if you open that RDF and modify "Maximum records per page" number for those frames, one by one, and see for yourself?

I guess not too much, just several minutes of your time.

Thanks so much...i managed to get it working with the maximum rows per page = 1 (i set it to 1 for each of the repeating frames) although now i get a blank page (which has headers only) between each page with actual detail. any ideas on how to eliminate that one?

you should check the page break before report property of parent frame property or check the main report section.
