Hello,
We need to know, when using (Oracle 9i Application Server)OAS, if there is a way to buffer data. If, not, is there an alternative? OAS is being used in the generation of reports. For large reports the PC will
sit, with essentially a blank screen, until all of the data is retrieved and formatted. Only then is the report displayed. This can take minutes (or longer). What we are looking for is a way to retrieve some of the data and display it, while the rest of the data is being retrieved in the background.
