Hi,
I use Oracle change data capture to capture tha changes ,but recently I realized that the proccess apply approximatly 9 millions of changes. It is unusual couz I found that after un update the cdc apply them as changes, but in some of the cases the value is the same. How can avoid cdc to apply this updates as changes cous hey aren't changes?

I find no other explanation why the number of changes increases so much?
The purge job is acitvated and executed normally.Today it across 10 million.

I mean that after the changes have arrived in the staging database,
in the change tables there are rows of type UO and UN where actually there are no changes in the column values of the original tables.
It seems that an update has been executed in the production database that has not updated the original values or has updated them with the same values.
This is bringing a lot of change records where OLD and NEW are the same.
Is there any feature in the CDC that prevents this from happening in the moment when the changes are captured?
As of now I haven't yet identified what is the original update statement in production that is producing these rows.

Thank you
