Dear Guru

Infect, I migrated the application on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2. I did the Setting of the Report Engines [Attached File: Oracle Application Server].

/forum/fa/8533/0/

Infect, Oracle Application Server generated the error "Terminated with error: REP-501: Unable to connect to the specified database." after the two days weekly off of my company. My company uses the Oracle Application Server from Sunday to Thursday, peak time and then Friday is off and Saturday One Shift uses this Application Server. On Sunday/ Saturday, I have to Restart the Oracle Application Server to ignore this error. In my point of view, Report Server Shutdown due to long idle time.

Would you please guide me how I can ignore this error after weekly days off?.

Hi

Can you give the Screen Shot of your configration.

I think in the Pick hour your engine has full with jobs and there is no space to start for the new job. You have to Invistegate the Jobs coming into the Engine and Job Life Also. Moreover your can check the JVM Option, Cache Size and Max Queque Size.

But Before changing you have to check your server memory also.

Oracle Report Server Configration Book can help you to setting the cache and Queque Size.

Please revert you need more.
